New Reich Subsidiaries in England and China

Driven by the successful foundations of subsidiaries - the most recent ones having been in India and South Korea - the REICH brand is now represented also in the British and Chinese markets by its own companies Reich Drive Systems UK Ltd. and Reich Drive Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. with effect from 1st January, 2015.

The two subsidiaries are headed by experienced managers. Mr. David Proud is the General Manager of Reich Drive Systems UK Ltd., which is headquartered in Stockport. He has been active in the power transmission business for more than 15 years. In the previous years, Reich products were sold by our sales partner Ringflex in England. The former business activities and the representation and sales of the TAS-Schäfer products were transferred to Reich UK because of a generation change at Ringflex. The proven team will continue serving the British market under the new company name.

Mr. Ralf Tao is the General Manager of Reich Drive Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in China. Mr. Tao graduated in engineering in Germany and has held management positions in German-Chinese industrial companies for more than 25 years. A further two sales representatives with many years of experience in power transmission engineering, and in coupling engineering in particular, support the serving of the customers and prospects. In this way Reich consistently pursues the expansion of its more than 10 years of direct presence in the Chinese market.

REICHis thus active in the world market with a total of 8 subsidiaries and 17 sales partners. The foundation of Reich UK and Reich China is last but not least a logical consequence of the ongoing globalization and provides the opportunity for serving globally operating customers in an even better way. The new Reich subsidiaries, however, are not only supposed to maintain existing customer relationships but also, and in particular, to intensify the efforts towards hitherto untapped customer potentials and to win them over.
